CVC has said that the case pertains to Mondelez India's 'ghost' production unit in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh. and the company officials have made some inappropriate payments to public servants to get expedite or to get some benefits.
They have also said that the company has claimed excise duty exemption even though it didn't establish the factory and has evaded taxes.
